Perry Gunn

Pen Portrait – Perry Gunn

Perry has been a volunteer leader with Brigade for the previous 20 years at St Marks, Heyside, Royton, Oldham.  Perry has a daughter Stephanie now 26 and having studied at Nottingham University  is now a Maths teacher.  Stephanie who was at St Marks from Martins through to Seniors and attained her D o E Silver in 2013.

Perry has worked through all sections of Brigade and currently works within Seniors and his specialities are D of E Training and Guitar.  He is a qualified First Aider.

Perry was a Church Warden at St Marks for 6 years, and still sits on the PCC.

Perry’s career has been quite varied, he began his working life as an Electrician, but then studied Finance and received an HNC in Business and Finance.  Perry then moved into the field of social care and became a commissioner in the Oldham Drug and Alcohol Action Team, commissioning services for clients with substance misuse problems.

Perry’s outside interests, revolve around sport, in particular Oldham Athletic, Golf and Motor Sport.
