Cystic Fibrosis Events

Colleen Perry, OIC within the Durham Regiment, has created a new project that she would like you all to get involved with. The project is to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust which has become close to her and her family following the birth of her son Ewan who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.

The project is outlined in the booklet attached and runs over 2 weeks in your company. It is suggested the project runs in June in line with CF awareness week but can be done at any time. The project suggests organising a sponsored event called "The big bounce” but if companies are not able to do this as a sponsored event then please continue to get involved to raise awareness.

This is a fun and exciting activity as well as being able to teach your members about the condition and how they can help. This could also link with brigade badge work and there is a certificate that can be printed for those members who have been involved.

If you have any questions about the project you can contact Colleen on email

If you would like to find out more about the reasons behind this project then please go to to see what else is going on.
