125th Anniversary Parade in York

The following has been received by Brigade HQ.

I must say what a lovely parade in York to commemorate the Brigades 125 anniversary.  It brought back memories of the parades we used to have in Durham with the Durham and Newcastle Regiment.

I was probably at 82 years the oldest member on parade and I felt very proud to be included in the parade.  I was great that all the shoppers took time out to see and photograph the parade.

Please pass on my best wishes and thanks to everyone who was involved with organising the event.

Regards

Colin leckonby
