Prayer Bulletin
June 2016

Dear Prayer Supporter,

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts  be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

Prayer points:

  • Please pray for the friends and family of Darren Rodgers, who recently lost his life in a tragic accident in France. Darren grew up through Ballymena CLB company and in recent years helped the Captain Alan in leading the company. We pray that God would comfort his family and friends at this terrible time and give them His peace. Please also pray for Ballymena’s Captain , Alan and the company’s leaders and members as they come to terms with this terrible loss.

  • Many of our churches are running summer schemes this month, we pray that they would run smoothly and that the children who attend would learn more about the Bible and grasp the message that Jesus loves them.

  • As the exam period continues please pray for our seniors who are studying and sitting exams. As they get to the end of their exams we pray for the energy and motivation to see them through to the finish line.

  • As we celebrate our Patron, Her Majesty the Queen this month on her 90th birthday we thank God for her and for her service of our country. We pray for continued health and strength for her and her family.
  • This month we are excited to be holding a taster night for our new company at Kilmore and Inch Parish. We pray that young people would come along and be excited about joining the company in September.
  • As Dobbin girls senior Y team and JTC go on a weekend away this month we pray the girls who attend would have a fun time, learning new things and growing in their faith.
  • Over the summer period we plan to write a new Scripture course, we would really value your prayers for wisdom and direction as we seek to write a course that will help our members to better understand the Bible and develop in their relationship with God.
  • Most importantly please continue to pray that Jesus’ name would be glorified through the work of the CLCGB and that through our organisation, children and young people would come to know him for the first time.
  • Thank you for your continued prayers for the CLCGB
