Student Volunteering Week 2016

There’s 2 weeks to go! The 22nd-28th February see’s a national celebration of the positive impact students have on their communities through volunteering. Universities across the country are getting involved, and this could be a great opportunity for you to recruit some fresh volunteers. According to a recent survey there are over 725,000 students who currently volunteer, for an average of 44 hours a year. Of those involved in the research, 78% said that they volunteer because they want to improve things or help people. The most  popular opportunities for students are organising activities and events, fundraising or teaching.
