“It feels nice to be part of a group who help each other and are friendly. It makes me feel special.”

Maddison, aged 10.

What do the clergy think?

“I have been involved with CLCGB since 1969 and have seen how precious it was and what a difference it made in my Parish, All Saints & Martyrs Langley, which had a huge Company. It brings what young people need to young people, it gives them friendship, it gives them fellowship and fun."

Bishop Jack Nichols

Funding Opportunities North West

font size

Trafford Hall is a charity in Chester, and put on training for community groups and housing associations.

They have released some new training packages and there's one that would be ideal for some CLCGB companies.

http://www.traffordhall.com/about-us/news-and-events.aspx

The course is £50 for the first participant and £20 for each subsequent.

It's heavily subsidised and includes onsite accommodation and fantastic food.

Although this will benefit our companies, organisations that do participate can subsequently apply for a £500 grant towards their current activities. This may include new band instruments, funding towards DofE kit and camping trips etc.

If you want to know anymore the link has more info and Gary who manages bookings is helpful.

This information has kindly been supplied by Matt Smith.  Many thanks to Matt for sharing potential funding ideas/resources.
